He has directed international campaigns for leading brands like Google, Samsung, Vivo, P&G, Viacom, Timberland, ByteDance, Dewars and Nestle. Working with global agencies as BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather, Dentsu and Iris Worldwide, his films have been recognized by the Cannes Lions, Clios, 1.4 Awards, Citra Pariwara and more. In the music world, he is an MTV VMA nominated director having shot videos for Nick Jonas, Blink-182, Sara Bareilles, Bastille, Divine, JoJo Siwa, Jess Glynne, Monsta X and more.
Known for his refined-yet-gritty visual language, Nicholas’ films often center on character-driven stories deeply rooted in humanity. His work has been featured in The LA Times, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, The Telegraph, The Independent, Entertainment Weekly, Vogue, Complex, Maxim, Forbes and many more. Nicholas sits on the Board of Directors for the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles, heading up their entertainment division whose core mission is to mentor the next generation of creative talent.
When not on set, Nicholas will be found tearing through the canyons in his cars or motorcycle, creating new recipes in the kitchen or talking watches and sneakers with fellow ‘heads.
