Masami has lived an International life, spanning across three continents, five countries, six cities-Sao Paulo, New York, Chicago, Tokyo, Hong Kong and most recently Taipei. Naturally this cross cultural upbringing has found its way into his aesthetic sensibility, fusing a seamless weave of both Western and Asian influences into spots that transcends borders.
He is mainly focusing on commercial film and short film direction. He has directed films for: Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Audi, Nike, Unilever, Pepsi, Skoda, Motorola, Sony, Hitachi, Yamaha, Ford…
Masami has collaborated with numerous international celebrities such as Takeshi Kaneshiro, Jimmy Lin, Li Yapeng…etc. His short film “Wego” and Mercedes series have gone to collect awards world wide.
